I am taking some time to update a little about what has happened to some Alpenländishe Dachsbracken. I would like to give my Congratulations to Ronny with Taz and Stefan with Bety who both brought their ADB imports to become Swedish Tracking Champions! It’s Really fun with interested dog handlers who spend the time that their dogs deserve to qualify them. Taz has also done very well in the shows so it’s a good looking male. Now Bety has even start working as a driven gun dog and so far it looks good. So once again well done! …More »

So finally we were out on an adventure again for trial. This time in Auerbach, Germany. VGP, the German full-purpose trial, which is their toughest test for the trained gun dog waited for us. When simultaneously studying a rather demanding programme (veterinary medicine), one might wonder whether it is optimal with this type of dogs. But I’m glad I made it and know that my bank of knowledge got a lot of new material to store ;-) . …More »

Today Pax Mariae Gemma “Molly” and me were at a working test at Ekeby hunting club in Bassholma. 08.00 gathering and information about the upcoming day. The experienced judge Björn Dahlström had a trainee for education which meant that the trials would take a bit longer. Its quite ok to wait when you know that a new judge is being made :-) . The trial went well, Molly was approved and can now be called SWEDISH and FINNISH WORKING CHAMPION! …More »
