I got a telephone call from Kiras owner telling me of a successful hunt. They got to shoot wild boars thanks to her good work. And just a couple of days before this hunt Kira and her owners where praised in a news article written by the great dog trainer Jeppe Stridh in Veberöd, Sweden. Last weekend Kira was trialed in northern Germany on the breeding trial. The trial was very well organized and the atmosphere was nice. Like I’ve written before Kira is a almost 2-year old kleiner münsterländer that has been here for training and hunting preparation for a customer in Sweden. The trial went well and and this was the last trial for her before she starts the proper hunting.

Kira is being prepared for the KLM breeding trial and had a intense period where focus was laid on getting a nice and proper retrieving. Retrieving is usually a very fun and interesting part when training a dog.
