Now in the middle of hunting season it’s difficult to find time to write about all the adventures. But in short, it has been hunting four days a week in average. There has been some tome for in between but it is not as quantitatively or qualitatively as it should.
But I have had time for two hunts abroad and, of course, here at home. It has gone beyond our expectations and the dogs have just been doing fine. But we have been spoiled with great hunting grounds with beautiful wild stocks. …More »

Hunting at Skönabäck. Usually there is always something fun happening and so also this time. We are going to hunt four battues so the dogs have a bit to cover. Now it is finally rest day. We have been on various adventures for five days in a row, so now we’ll take a break for a few days. It is needed by both the dogs and their master. What have we found? So the weekend’s escapades has ended. It was of course driven hunt on the menu. We are in southern Scania, where hunting mentor Timo arranges a small hunt. This morning its a little chilly and the dew lies on the grass. The mist is so strong that the sun that can be glimpsed thru it looks like a moon. We can absolutely expect a great day. Gathering at nine o’clock and with perfect weather. A bit too good weather in order to feel that there is hunting going on. But would the hunt be unsuccessful then at least we have been lucky with the weather.
