Now there is a opportunity to book some puppies from Czech working lines. The puppies are ready for delivery at the end of March / beginning of april. The Czech Republic is classified as a rabies-free country which means you can apply for licence to bring in the puppies before they become 3 months. For more info: Swedish Board of Agriculture.

This week the guys Cigi and Xavier aka Buster and Molly girl was in the wild boar enclosure where I usually let my work dogs every now and then. What was new was that there was brand new wild boars so I let Molly start as she has the most routine. She got to experience something totally new, these boars were tough out of the ordinary and began to chase her around the enclosure. Not so realistic but still a situation that may be useful in the future. After a while, the wild boars calmed and Molly could work on normally. Then it was the guys turn: the youngster Cigi was let off along with Molly and was working fine. Got himself some hits when he was too close but her learned from it and worked at a better distance. “Buster” got to work by himself and made a really good job.
Also this time I used the protective vests the dogs and after the gone season, I have decided to continue using these. Mainly because I have not experienced that they have prevented the dogs’ work in any way and that I have myself seen how the vests protected them from injuries.
