Last weekend we had tracking on our agenda. The “jagds” Molly and Cherry got to do their first blood tracks with proper game at the end of the track. We had the luck to have access to a nice terrain in Southern Slovakia just at the border to Hungary. In the beginning of easter I met the Lundsgard family and their black labrador retriever Boss. Boss is a well balanced and nice youngster who still wanted to live up to his name during the daily walks. Once again I got the pleasure to train and handle the Kleiner Münsterländer Kira on a course back home in Sweden. It was German Drahthaar Club of Sweden and the instructor Patrik Sjöström who arranged a pleasant two days field course. We were a happy gang with dogs in different ages who showed what they were made off. The dog constellation consisted of German Drahthaars, Kleiner Münsterländers and one Weimaraner. …More »
